Today in your 2017 Nissan Pathfinder we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install Tekonsha's four pole flat trailer connector vehicle wiring harness.This is what our wiring looks like when it's installed. Our harness is going to provide us with a four pole flat trailer connector here at the back of our vehicle that's going to provide us with all the necessary lighting signals, which includes our left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps, and brake lamps, keeping us DOT compliant in all states. My favorite part about this harness is how it is custom fit for our Pathfinder, and plugs directly into factory connectors throughout the vehicle. It's a super quick and easy installation due to this. Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Today in your 2020 Nissan Pathfinder, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Tekonsha's seven pole vehicle wiring harness.We have assembly connector located here at the back of the vehicle. That's going to provide our trailer with all the necessary lighting functions, as well as functionality to charge our battery and for the braking system that's installed on the trailer. So inside we have seven circuits. That's going to include your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps and brake lamps, keeping you DOT compliant in all States with the proper lighting, as well as a brake signal circuit, which is the output from your brake controller and auxiliary charged circuit, which is for the battery on your trailer to keep them topped up, as well as a ground circuit, which is required for your trailer, to be able to be connected to the battery in your vehicle, for that charge circuit and the brake controller.And lastly, we have a reverse light circuit in there, which many of your trailers out there don't have reverse lights, but it's always nice to have that option, in the event that you have a trailer that does have reverse lights. So in your Pathfinder, this is going to be great if you're planning on using it to pull something, let's say like a popup camper, or even a small camper. With our seven way here, it's going to have the functionality we'll need for a brake controller because many campers do have brakes on them. more

Today in your 2020 Nissan Pathfinder, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install CURT's 4-pole flat trailer connector vehicle wiring harness. It provides us with a 4-pole connection for our trailer, to provide us with all the necessary lighting, to keep us DOT compliant in all states. This includes our left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps, and brake lamps. Also, on the end of our connector here, we receive a dust boot, since it does live outside the vehicle, and this helps keep out dirt, debris, and moisture to ensure a long-lasting connection, and it can also be used to secure it to the safety chain loop on your hitch, to keep it up out of the way.What's nice about this harness is that it plugs directly into your factory wiring harness on your vehicle, so there's no cutting or splicing. We just simply need to plug in the harnesses that come included with it, and then install the relays that come included with it. Now, that box is going to protect your vehicle's factory wiring if a short we're to occur on your trailer. It also has a nice dust cap, which not only is going to help keep the terminals protected. Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2019 Nissan Frontier- Video
Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com. Today you're going to be taking a look at the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with a seven blade RV style connector on our 2019 Nissan Frontier. Now our Tekonsha wiring harness is going to provide us with the seven way connector at the back of our Frontier, that way we have all of the required lights, like our clearance lights, turn signals, and our brake lights, but it's also going to give us our reverse signal, our brake controller output signal, as well as a 12 volt power source at the back of our seven way.Now I do want to mention that our kit is not going to come with the mounting bracket to mount your seven way plug up to, so you will need to pick up this extra. But here we're using the Pollak seven way mounting bracket that fits our socket perfectly. The socket is going to have a spring loaded door, that way it'll keep all the dirt, debris, and moisture out of the inside, hopefully preventing any kind of corrosion from building up on the contacts.If you're looking to pull a trailer with your Frontier, wiring is going to be necessary, but our seven way not only is going to give us those lighting functions but it's also going to let us add a brake controller later on down the road if we want to, so we have a little bit more control of our trailer. The nice thing about our wiring is the fact that we're not going to have to cut or splice anything. more

Now, our Tekonsha wiring harness is going to provide us with a four-pole flat trailer connector, that way we can get all the required lights to get down the road safely, like our taillights, our turn signals, and our brake lights. And when we're pulling a trailer, we don't have to worry about someone running into the back of us or getting a ticket, because it's going to keep us safe and legal while we're towing.Now, our wiring is designed to stay on the outside of the vehicle at all times, so it will be close by our hitch whenever we want to use it. It is going to include a dust cap that's going to be permanently attached, which will also help out keeping the dust, dirt, and debris, but also we can use it to hang or wearing off of our hitch on the seas chain loop that we don't have to worry about it dragging.One of the best things about our wiring is the fact of how easy it is to install. We're not going to have to cut or splice into any of our wires on our truck. In fact, there's only going to be one plug behind our bumper here that we'll be pulling our four-pole wire in, and then on the inside of the truck we'll have another harness and put a few relays in. more

Rob here at etrailer.com, and today you're going to be taking a look at the Curt T Connector vehicle wiring harness on our 2019 Nissan Frontier. Now, our current wiring's going to provide us with a four way flat trailer connector, and we're going to have all the lights to get down the road safely, including our tail lights, turn signals, stop lights, everything we need so we can make sure everyone around us is safe and we're safe going down the highway.Now our 4-pole wiring is designed to stay on the outside by our hedge until we're ready to use it, but what's nice is it is going to include a dust cap, so we can use that to keep all the dirt, debris, and moisture out from inside of our connector, but at the same time we can use it to keep it from dragging the ground, and tie it to our safety chain loop, that way it'll be ready for us whenever we want to tow.What I really like about our wiring is the fact that we're not going to have to cut anything at all. There's no splicing required. We're simply going to have one connector behind our bumper here, put our 4-pole plug into and then on the passenger side we're going to have another harness that we're going to plug into relays. Extremely quick and easy process. In fact, let's go and walk through it together.To begin our installation, we want to come underneath our Frontier, and over on the driver's side we'll find a few plugs. more

Now our wiring is inaudible 00:00:11 and the 4-pole flat trailer connector. So we have all the required lights to get down the road safely and securely, like our running lights or stoplights and our turn signals. Now our wiring does come with a dust cover we attach to the connector itself, keep all that dirt, debris and moisture out. However, when we're not using our wiring, it is designed to stay on the inside of the car. We can open up the trunk and whenever we want to store it we're just going to store it inside the trunk or we can actually put it down below down by our spare tire.And when we do want to use it, we're going to drop it out the rear of the trunk. more

Now, whenever we're not using our wiring, it is designed to stay on the inside of the car at all times so we can just bundle it up and keep it wrapped inside by our spare tire. When we do want to use it, we'll pull out the slack, drop it down by our hitch. So long as we stay away from the actual latch mechanism, the wire will have enough cushion on the weather stripping here where it won't get damaged.Now, the nice thing about our wiring is that it is going to be custom designed for our Nissan. Today on our 2010 Nissan Altima we're going to be installing Tekonsha's T-One 4-Pole vehicle wiring harness, part number 118470. This wiring harness is going to give us all the necessarily lighting we need in our trailer. This includes our left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps and brake lamps. So we'll be DOT compliant in all states.There's an attached dust cap so you can keep out any dirt, debris, and moisture to ensure a long lasting connection. Initially when you're not using it, if is outside the vehicle you can secure it to your hitch in one of the safety chain loops and this'll keep it up out of the way. When you're not using your cable you can simply wrap it up and store it in the compartment located under the panel here in the back. more

Today on our 2018 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness with 7-way trailer connector. That's going to be part number 118266. To help us with our installation, we're going to be using the Pollak mounting bracket, part number PK12711U.Here's what our wiring's going to look like once we have it installed. I do want to mention that our kit is not going to come with a mounting bracket, so we will need to pick one of those up so we can secure the connector at the back of the truck. Our wiring's going to give us a 7-way connector, that way we have all the required lights to get down the road safely, like our turn signals, stop lights, tail lights, and our reverse lights.It's also going to give us a 12 volt power source at the back of the 7-way, and the option to use an electronic brake controller if we choose to put one in later.The spring-loaded door along with the rubber gasket on the inside is going to prevent any kind of debris or moisture from getting inside. Off to the right we have the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness with a four-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118670. In the middle we have the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness with a seven-pole connector, part number 118273. Off here to the left we have the Hopkins Plug-In Simple vehicle wiring harness with a four-pole flat trailer connector, part number HM11143690. Now the biggest differences that we have in our trailer wiring harness besides the fact that we have a seven-way here and two four-ways, is that both the seven-way and the four-way that we have here from Tekonsha will connect to the vehicle's existing tow package wire connectors. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Nissan Titan, we're going to be taking a look at and show you how to install the replacement and custom multi-tow seven weight and four-way trailer connector. Part number 30955.This is what our seven and four pole looks like when it's installed. Our seven pole side is going to give us all the functions for your running lights, brake lights, turn signals, your ground, your reverse lights, and also it's going to allow you to hook up a brake controller for electric brakes on a trailer.You're also going to have a four-pole connection, which is going to give your normal running lights, brake lights, inaudible 00:00:37 turn signals, and also your ground.Our seven pole plug here is going to have a spring loaded lid so we don't have to worry about making sure it's closed, it'll stay closed by itself. On the inside here, it's going to have a rubber ring, that's going to seal around this edge to keep any dirt and debris, moisture from getting on your connections.Four pole side here, is going to have an attached cover, it's also going to help keep any dirt and debris from getting on your connection points.Now that we've gone over some of the features of our seven and four pole plug, let me show you how to get it installed.Our seven pole and four pole plug is going to come with a bracket. This bracket we're going to mount on our pre-welded bracket on our hitch. Your hardware, you're going to have a Phillips head screw, a flat washer, on the bottom, you'll have a nut and a lock washer.Now our hardware to mount our seven and four pole onto the bracket, you're going to have Phillips head screws like this, four of them. more
